The turning point wasn't a strategy
I spent years inside a production company I built from scratch, doing the work myself before I ever had the numbers to know if it was working. The turning point wasn't a strategy — it was hiring a fractional CFO and finally seeing my own business clearly for the first time. I dug into the financials myself, learned to read them the way an operator needs to, not the way an accountant does, and started seeing exactly which levers actually moved the business.
I took that with me to the next company, where I rebuilt the accounting workflow first — before touching anything else — and built the reporting and forecasting tools that gave us a real, current picture. Once that picture was clear, the operational decisions that had felt impossible got obvious.
That's what I do now for other founders: get you the same clarity, faster than it took me to find it myself.
